St Mary's by the Sea is a non-denominational chapel built in 1880 and relocated to its current beachfront location in Port Douglas in 1988. The venue seats up to 100 guests and features a large glass altar window with views of the beach, Coral Sea and rainforest mountains, along with stained glass windows and traditional wooden pews. The chapel is air-conditioned with wheelchair access available (advance notice required) and is open seven days a week. Ceremony bookings can be made directly with the venue via email.
