About this space

The Old Methodist Meeting Hall, built in 1862, is a mid-Victorian Gothic structure designed by renowned architect Edmund Wright. Located at 25 Pirie Street (rear), it's the last remaining part of what was once the centre of Methodism in South Australia and served as an educational centre where Prince Alfred College was established. The hall maintains the character of the historic precinct near Pilgrim Church and the Town Hall.

Best suited for

Old Methodist Meeting Hall is suited to community events in Adelaide. The hall setting works well for guests after a venue with character rather than a generic function room.
